Reducing gun violence is a priority for many communities. Whether it is interpersonal incidents, active shooters at schools or public places, persistent violence among youth and young adults, or suicides, police departments have a significant task to interrupt these cycles of violence.
The learning sessions in this GVR Academy series discuss analytical processes to develop, change, implement, and monitor your efforts to reduce this crime problem. Each community has unique risk and protective factors to understand within this crime problem - so resources here are just the start. Additional information and/or needs for your efforts will be developed during your work throughout this course.
